Visitor Tickets and Tours
Visitor Tickets
We recommend booking visitor tickets in advance, although tickets can be purchased on arrival at the Cathedral.
We also offer the option to include a visit to The Stained Glass Museum, housed upstairs in the Cathedral.
Pre-booking is advised if you want to join any of our tours as places are limited. These include Octagon Tower Tours, West Tower Experience, Ground Floor Tours and Stories of Ely Cathedral.

How your visit benefits Ely Cathedral
Unlike museums and arts organisations, the Cathedral receives no regular government funding and we are reliant on the contribution made by our congregation, community and visitors. The upkeep of the Cathedral currently costs £10,000 a day so by purchasing a visitor ticket, you are supporting the running costs and maintenance of the Cathedral and the on-going mission of the Dean and Chapter.
