Discovery Mornings at Ely Cathedral
Join us to discover more about our Cathedral.
Discovery Mornings are opportunities for children and families to come along to the Cathedral and take part in activities to help them discover more about the building, it's history, the people that have been here and those who use it today. They run throughout the year and have themes such as Colour and Icons. Keep up to date with the latest Discovery Morning on this page and through our Facebook Group Ely Cathedral Learning
Discovery Morning: Bugs and Bees
Saturday 8 June 2024 10am - 12pm
Where to find us
Find us on the East Lawn to the rear of Ely Cathedral, by the Almonry Garden entrance.
What will you be doing?
To mark the beginning of Churches Count on Nature 2024, Ely Cathedral’s Learning and RENEW Eco Teams are joining with Wildlife Trust, Ely Watch to provide a morning of drop in activities for all ages. We will be counting the creatures we find, taking part in insect friendly crafts, and hearing from the experts on hand to learn more about our impact on the wildlife around us.
How do I join in?
This Discovery Morning is free of charge and open to all. Simply come to the East Lawn to join us. There is no need to book your place. You will be able to give a donation if you wish. Please contact learning@elycathedral.org if you have any questions.
