The Rt Revd Sarah Clark, Bishop of Jarrow, is to be the next Bishop of Ely

I am delighted by today’s announcement that the Rt Revd Sarah Clark, Bishop of Jarrow, is to be the next Bishop of Ely. Having served as Acting Bishop of Durham for the past two years, Sarah brings a wealth of experience, and we look forward to her leadership among us. We are especially pleased to welcome her to the Cathedral for Evensong, following a long day visiting the diocese. We very much look forward to working with Bishop Sarah in the future and to formally welcoming her to the Cathedral and Diocese in the months ahead.
